PureLevoit Core P350 Review
The Core P350 is a Levoit Core 300 with a different filter in it. Same 141 CFM fan, same 219 sq ft rating, same 8.7″ cylinder — the premium buys a cartridge built for fur and litter-box air. Whether that's worth it comes down to how hairy your house is.

We don't run a lab. We went through Levoit's published CADR and coverage figures, the specs for both cartridges and owner reviews from multi-pet homes, then lined the P350 up against the Levoit units we've already covered.

Levoit Core P350
The pet part is the cartridge. Its outer layer is a heavier non-woven weave that catches hair and dander before they reach the pleats, so the H13 HEPA behind it works on fine particles instead of clogging with fur. The carbon carries what Levoit calls its ARC coating, aimed at urine and litter odor rather than cooking smoke. Everything else is Core 300: three speeds plus sleep, a 2/4/8-hour timer, no ionizer, no ozone.

P350 or Core 300?
Identical machines, so the decision is the filter. With a shedding cat or dog the pet cartridge wins: the fur layer protects the HEPA, the carbon targets the smell you have. Otherwise the Core 300 filter costs less for the same particle job — and the 300 body takes the pet cartridge, so it converts at the next change.
When it's the wrong size
219 sq ft is a bedroom, a home office or a small den. Put a P350 in a 450 sq ft living room where the dog actually lives and it runs flat out and loses. That's the Vital 200S's job — about 380 sq ft, a washable pet pre-filter, sensor-driven auto mode. Two things to know before you buy
- Filters are the running cost, and pets shorten them. The 6–8 month rating assumes ordinary dust; a shedding coat loads the outer layer faster, so budget one or two a year and expect the short end with two animals. No third-party versions exist. Warning signs: our replacement filters guide.
- Carbon here is a coating, not a bed. It handles day-to-day dander smell and a clean box in the same room, but a multi-cat setup saturates it early — and no purifier fixes a box that needs scooping. If odor rather than hair is the problem, start with our cat hair and litter dust picks.
How to run it
No sensor means no auto mode, so pick a speed and leave it: speed 2 by day, sleep overnight. Keep it in the room the animals sleep in rather than a hallway, give the intake ring a few inches of clearance, and vacuum the grille when you see fur on it. More in our placement guide.
Verdict
The P350 is a narrow, honest product: a Core 300 with a pet cartridge, priced accordingly. In a bedroom with a shedding animal it's the cheapest sensible answer we know of, and the fur layer earns its money by keeping the HEPA usable. Over roughly 250 sq ft, step up to the Vital 200S. Every 6 to 8 months, toward the short end with a heavy shedder or two animals. The pre-filter is bonded in and can't be washed — vacuum the grille between changes.
